how a page works5 lines
  1. The chip. One chip is 0.01 ETH, written into the next empty slot of the open page. Write up to ten at once; each is its own slot.
  2. Who writes. Holders of 10,000 $CHIPBOOK.
  3. The tenth chip. It closes the page and opens the next one in the same block. The page seals to a block three blocks ahead; that block's hash draws one slot. Nobody picks, the house included.
  4. The take. The drawn chip takes the whole page: its own 0.01 back plus 0.01 from every other chip. No cut.
  5. Short pages. A page's two-hour clock starts with its first chip. Still short when it runs out, the page is drawn among the chips on it; under two chips, each chip gets its 0.01 back.
worked page

10 chips × 0.01 = a 0.1 ETH page. The draw block's hash lands on slot 7.

Slot 7 takes 0.1 ETH: its own 0.01 back plus 0.09 from the other nine chips.

Write 3 of the 10 and your odds are 3 in 10 for the same 0.1. A page that runs out at 6 chips pays 0.06 to one of the six.
